PbR is not a panacea but can be an effective payment model says international work programme expert Jane Mansour

Jane Mansour is an independent consultant with expertise in payment by results in the UK, Australia and the USA.

She gives her analysis of the opportunities and risks of PbR in this latest in a series of short video interviews on payment by results.

Jane argues that PbR schemes need to have sufficient funding and flexibility of operation to succeed. She also says it’s the responsibility of commissioners to manage a diverse market which balances getting economies of scale with local excellence and knowledge.
