Invitation to tender: External evaluation for Women in Prison’s “Health Matters” project
Women in Prison (WIP) is a unique, women-only organisation that provides gender-specialist support to women affected by the criminal justice system and campaigns for systems change.
Funded by the Big Lottery under the Women and Girls Initiative, “Health Matters” is a new three-year project set up to support women in the criminal justice system around their health. Through our practical service delivery, we aim to affect longer-term systems change for vulnerable women in relation to health and well-being.
We are looking for an external evaluator to add an additional level of monitoring to our existing systems as the project progresses and to provide in-depth analysis and reflection of the project outcomes at the end of this the project. The successful candidate would need some knowledge and understanding of the issues facing women in the criminal justice system.
The evaluation budget is £17,000 (to cover the period Spring 2017 – Autumn 2019)

Interviews will be held at WIP’s offices in London on 21 and 22 March 2017
